Looks interesting......5 or 6 speed pro fit kits for A bodies

-
That looks pretty sweet and I could come up with a tremec. The thing I can't come up with is the money. Maybe they'll take a kid in trade.

I'll believe they are available when I see one in somebody's car.

Oh yeah. A magazine article. Now, YOU go order one and get back to us when you get it.

I talked to these guys at Carlisle in July. This kit has you cutting the torsion bar support beam out. They have a reinforced trans support and a formed floor section to cover the big hole you will need. It actually looked pretty good compared to all the effort required to make the Keisler kit work in mine.

They are available, the 5 speed installs with much less cutting. They sell trans separate so if you have a OE trans you can use it.
Toolmanmike, you didnt really think you were going to get a 6 speed for $1300 did you ?:D

They make great parts, American Powertrain are the ones that helped us solve the issue of a flywheel so you can run an A-833 with magnum injection by making us an LA flywheel with crank sensor pick up reluctor on it.

So "pro-fit" means you should probably hire a professional to make it fit.
