Loose rear seat

Hi guys

I have a problem with my Demon rear seat (the horizontal part)
Even when correctly clamped into the two hooks, the seat is loose. At least, half inch bottom to top.
However, the two floor hooks and the seat frame are in very good shape (not bended)
So, logically, it's noisy on road bumps.
Is it normal?

It should fit snug. I will assume that your seat springs are bent allowing loose fit.

My 66 Barracuda is the same. It fits in the clips but is loose in the front. But the Barracuda has a bracket on each side that fits behind the vertical seat and bolts in. That helps to secure it.

My bottom seat is out now while I was adjusting the quarter glass so when I reinstall it I'll have a closer look.
