I dont have the door keys to my 72 cuda and was wondering what I needed to do to get keys to use the factory locks (prefered) or what other options are out there.Or would it be simpler to just buy a whole lock set for the ign.,doors and trunk?BTW the ignition has been changed but I have the original switch but no keys.

Just take your original ignition switch to any good locksmith . They can use that switch to make another set that would work with the door locks . Shouldn't cost more that $30 -$40 bucks .

If you have a working ignition switch in it now, just pull the outer door handles, remove the lock cylinders, and bring them with your ignition key to a locksmith and have him repin the door cylinders to match your ignition key. If you don't have any keys at all, you can get a new matching set at a locksmith or online.

Ok so first choice would be get them to a local locksmith and they can fix them up.I'm trying to keep as much original as possible.
