I heard rumors he may move away from it and I called to check today and it’s true. Besides his full time job, race car wiring, and a new cnc machine his load was getting overloaded. Added to that was a drum (54gallon) jumped approximately 40.00 each so overhead and storage added to the problem. I have another friend selling alcohol so I’m sure he can supply me and I’ll get two instead of one barrel as my trip went from a 12 mile round trip to 80 miles.

I’m sure race gas goes at a rate exponentially to the cost of regular commercial fuel at the pumps.

Maybe you or a friend should be the NEW alcohol and Penn Grade oil guy in the area?

yes I know, safe storage place and babysitting the customers.

A Bro of Mine has A WICKED 71 Cuda, Used to race it, had a full cage w/ a 426 Wedge. He put the # 340 back in and removed the cage. It's a 4 spd car. Anyway he has a Pizza franchise. Corporate is pulling all kinda bs. I said" why don't you tell eh to FOAD and hang a Brian's Pizza sign... he said there was WAY more to it than that.... apples and oranges, I know..

My buddy that does my machine work is also a Sunoco Racing Fuel dealer. I asked him the other day if racing fuel was going up like regular gas and he said no, it really doesn't. I guess it depends on the greed of the distributor that supplies it to the dealers maybe.

If I was you I would buy some right now then.

Race fuel 110 octane has been pretty stable at our local track the past 5 years, between 8.99 to 10.99 per gallon. Even when regular gas dropped below $1 our 110 was still $8.99. Not what you'd like to see but at least there haven't been major price swings

Well that explains why it didn’t go up, because it never went down. It went up plenty out west.

Well I ordered two barrels of alcohol tonight at 210.00 per 54 gallons. So 3.90 a gallon for race fuel. I will be picking them up next week and he has I think 48 drums left so he will be making a fuel run soon. He couldn’t guarantee what the next load will cost so I’m not taking any chances. That is the cost with “upper lube” added.

Well i spent time searching for Penn Grade 10-30 today and the cheapest I found was 95.00 a case with free delivery from Amazon. Just under 8.00 a quart and way way cheaper than summit or the 12.00 a qt locally. Two cases coming next week.
