Hey Fabo— I know I know, they are way out of style, but I still love em. The two most renowned guys who punched louvers in Kansas City have passed away over the last decade and I cannot seem to find anyone who still does it. Any recommendations other than “don’t do it” would be greatly appreciated!

Photo is not my fish, but just the look I am going for.

Thanks!
Pete

Midwest Metalcraft in Windsor. Ask for Denny or Kevin D. Kevin has had some early A bodies. I asked Denny if they still used their punches last Thursday and he specifically mentioned that they did for louvers.

I don't know if they can do a hood or not, but they do still do louvers.

And louvers never went out of style. People just lose their sense of taste.

There's a guy in south central Iowa if You're interested.

Hello Grumpy Pete,
I have learned a lot on this site (Thanks FABO members).
One thing that always stands out is there are so meany honest opinions of how something should be, could be, and wont be.
I always try to keep a open mind when looking at some ones project knowing that it is there interpretation of what they envision it should look like.
I for one have mixed feeling on louvers.
I think some places they look good and some they don't.
That's just me..
That "Fish" looks sweet in Black with the louvers in the hood.
Hope it has steelies and dog dish caps.
Bottom line is its your car, your money, and your idea of how it should look.
Go for it !!
Please post some pictures of the finished product so we all can enjoy.
Happy Mopar :
Arron
