I’m looking for a set of low back bucket seats for a ‘67 Barracuda. Dart seats will work also I believe. Not sure what else is the same or similar.

I would like a nice set if possible, looks like covers are 80 + days wait time.

Let me know what you have, I appreciate it.

Thanks in advance

Other than the seat covers, the actual frames/foam is the same for 66/67 A and B bodies.

That said, i have a set of 65 Barracuda buckets in decent shape. Shipping would be expensive

67 Dart buckets are exactly the same structurally. They have different upholstery pattern, of course, and they also have a chrome medallion with a Dodge logo between your shoulder blades, which I found uncomfortable. The seat backs changed in 68, so I don't know if there is any other precise match. Of course, any A-body bucket from 67 on would bolt in, but if you want low-back with no headrest you are looking at 67-68, or early 69.

Thank you, I saw a 66 set advertised and they said it was the same as a 67 but I wasn’t sure.

66 and 67 A and B body seats are the same, but the tracks are different. Remember that if you’re buying anything but 67 A body seats. The 67 tracks are the same as 68-69 A body, but a decent set will set you back at least $300

66 had height adjustable tracks, 67 were solid. The back part of the seats is also different on 67 A vs B bodies, as the chrome strip is wider on the B.

Norm , have you found any seats yet ?

Hi Al, I haven’t bought any yet. I’ve found out that if I don’t buy the correct year, I won’t be able to match the color. There are some nice ones (wrong year) here. Also, the seat covers are 84 days out so, it may turn into a late summer/ next year project.

When did they put in the latches so the seat back of an unoccupied seat doesn't flop forward under hard braking?

I seem to remember my 66 B bodies didn't have it but I think my 67 did.

...or is that a split bench thing only?

67 no safety latch on seats 68 I believe do have safety latch and 100% 69's do
