After 3 different pivot shafts not having a solid press fit to my lower control arm bushing, I have to suspect the bushing to be bad. Can anyone tell me the correct diameter for an A body lower control arm pivot shaft.

TIA

Ya, bushings ain't what they used to be.
But i haven't run into that issue, (yet?)

Last month i got bushings from PROFORGED and was pretty happy with them.

Rubber bushing, these bushings are Moog and have a different look to them , the have rubber coated over the end of the outer shell on then flat of the shell.

Yep, the bushings are now manufactured differently.
I noticed that myself, awhile back.
That's a reason why i experimented around, and came up with those Proforged ones.
It was requiring a different technique in installing the bushings that i found issues with.
