I just picked up a 65' more door valiant. I have the rebuilt front suspension off my 70' duster from my HDK swap. What's the difference between the lower control arms that make it not a compatible swap?

Nothing.
All A body LCA's from 1962-76 are the same.

Sway bar mount tabs welded onto the arms for 65-72, and then 73-76 would be the only thing different, if running a front sway bar.

ok thanks. was looking through old posts and saw multiple posts that said the lower control arm was not interchangeable.

The sway bar tabs are in a different place in 1963-66 cars than 1967+, though most early LCA's didn't have them. You can buy weld-on sway bar tabs. My eventual plan is to instead attach to the drag strut, as the factory did in my 1965 Newport.
