Lowering blocks

I wouldn't use cast ones. I tried 2 sets of them on the back of my old Dakota and both cracked within a year. I don't know why they make and sell that garbage.

After 2 sets of the cast junk broke I found some rectangle 1/8" tubing the right size and cut my own. Took about 1/2 hr. to make the set and I never had a problem again.
 
wooooooooow mike you stepped things up didnt you now your a mod...:cheers:..have you made it out to any tracks out in fl. yet to race or to spec.??
 
Hey Mike......To be honest,I was the very 1st mod on this site when Adam started about 7-8 yrs ago. No track time yet. I still need tires and go over everything but besides that,IM READY TOO GO!!!!!!:cheers:
 
good deal im still in the what size i wont stage so once i get tht ill be ready to start building.....
 
there was a guy (Butch's Cool Stuff) at the Turkey Rod Run in Daytona last week
that had rear lowering blocks and motor mounts for small block mopars.
located in Dayton Ohio...i guess his name was ,,Butch...937-405 3399
he was among the thousands of vendors and we just stumbled across his spot.
i didn't get any price info
