m1 intake gaskets

Should i run gasket on the valley pan 440 on the bottom and top. The intake before didnt not have any before and seem to be ok .

buy the felpro kit that has the 4 thin gaskets and see if they fit on top and bottum. maybe only one will fit, put in on top. use sealent.

I don't use the paper gaskets and haven't had a problem but it depends on your heads and how it fits. If the intke "settles" down into the valley and the bolts don't start easilly, using the paper above the valley pan will help. I believe using the paper below it make lead to an oil leak unless you use a bit of silicone to seal the corners.
