Running them on my Duster. 2.5" with x-pipe and they are pretty mellow. If you want a real mellow muffler then they are good. They are BIG too, 24" case length and 4"x9" body shape. They sound good, but don't bark hard like a smaller 18" case does. I had the std Magnaflows on my last car and they were much louder at WOT or when you rapped it they snapped pretty good. The 11256 don't have that "snap" when you rap the throttle. But that's not bad per se. They will probably get louder as they break in and the packing gets broken up. I'd go with a smaller case if you want some real bark, but they aren't bad. Just mellower. Hope that helps
That's strange mine have a 18" case and 24" overall. Do you remember if you could see rate through them when you looked into the inlet and out the outlet? That's what mine are like and I find them to loud..
