Magnum heads on a LA

I have a 90 360 roller short block ready to go. I've been looking for a top end and finally bought a new set of bare 360 Magnum heads. The machine shop thinks we could set them up for chevy rockers (cheaper and a lot more choice) Who has done this and how did it work out?? I know I'll need custom hollow pushrods and the studs on the chevys are bigger so we'll have to bore and tap the rocker stands. What else will I need to do and is it worth looking for the self centering rockers. What do I need to do to make this bullet proof???

It's possible. The Chevy rocker move gets done on after market heads a lot. I'm not remembering any pit falls to the stock head conversion.

I added magnum heads to my LA 360, the chevy rockers worked fine. The rocker arm contact on the valve stem tip was offset from the valve centerline, but not extremely so, and the contact width on the valve tip was kept narrow.

Thanks for the info, I printed it and will take it to the shop this week. I think I can make this work!!
