magnum heads

i have the chance of a 406 mopar crate engine ,it has magnum r\t cylinder heads on it ,and was wondering if the exhaust port locations are the same ,and more importantly are my dougs headers still going to fit ok ,dont want to spend all the money out and end up in a world of trouble,,looking at pictures the two center ports look further apart,maybe one of you guys are using this combo on an early A

The ports are unchanged in location but shape has changed. The headers will fit and work. Alignment of the ports are not exact. The headers are modeled after the typical J head looking port and the Magnims are more square. This header pipe shape is the typical mass produced shape on every header. It has never been updated to match the magnum port.
