IF my reading and understanding is correct, a shift kit is not needed in a manual valve body? I guess if I'm reading things correctly the MVB is designed to firm up the shifts as well as give me full control of shift points.
I will probably shorten up the upright a bit yet.
It might be interesting to use an original pistol grip on there, hmmm......
Hey Bruce just a suggestion. If this is for a street car make sure you get a valve body with low band apply. Some MVB's do not have it and IMO it's important on a street car. When the rear band is applied it takes the load off the sprague. Be ready for teeth jarring shifts, LOL

low band apply will keep your feet attached. Without it you might get your teeth blown out. LMAO. Honestly 727 is/can be deadly without low band apply.
