Well, my oldest son (22 y/o) has been raised around Mopars. He's been going to the Nat's with me since he was 4 y/o. His younger brother hasn't been that interested in Mopars. Well, he just got his license (16 y/o) and is driving my old supercharged Grand Prix.

Well, he has been asking lots of questions and looking up different kinds of cars on the internet. It seems like he is starting to get interested in cars. His older brother has been talking to him about building an engine. They asked me yesterday if I have an engine that he can start to build. I told him today that he can have one of my 360's for a starter project.

When I asked the younger one if he wanted to work on cars with us a year ago, he said that he wasn't interested. Now that he's driving, and older brother is also getting him interested, I think I may have another young Mopar fan.

The youngest one helped me and the older one clean up and do a little organizing in the front garage today. I gave him a "tour" of a 360 block and showed him where to find the numbers and what they mean.

Sounds familiar ..... my son kicked in at 14 when he saw my old 96 ram sitting there and asked if he helped to fix it up ....would I let him drive it when he turned 16 ....has been a mopar fan ever since .... he now has a 2004 2500 diesel that he is fixing up ...great to here that your younger one is ready to roll with mopars

That's pretty cool, my boys are not interested in the hobby. My daughter on the other hand, that's a different story. She has been great! She loves my Dart and all sorts of cool older cars.

My kids both enjoy Mopars! Of course, everyone knows about Nella and "Sunfish", but my 10 year old done may be more Mopar crazy than her! He loves to go to the Nats, help out in the garage, and help run the tables at the WPC swap meet! He's currently in charge of the emblem division, but he learning the ropes of part pricing and identification!

Oh yea, he's got his dibs in on the GTX, which he can have when he's ready! That should seal his destiny in the next generation of Mopar young guns!! Geof

I was talking with his mom today. He has already been talking about his engine and is excited about it!!!!

I may be creating a monster..... LOL!
