Good morning, and Happy New Year y'all,
Getting ready to rebuild the front end in my Duster and have a couple questions:
First, who is McQuay-Norris? I had never heard of them until recently when I started my search for the front end kit. How do they compare, quality-wise, with Moog or TRW?
Second, a lot of the kits fit 70-72 or 73-76 models. What's the difference? I'm doing a '72 but using the disc brakes from a '74 or '75 parts car. From reading other posts I need to order the kit for a '74, correct?

Here's a big "THANK YOU" to FABO for all the info and help in 2008, and hoping that everyone has a great 2009...

I used to work in a front end shop and mcquay-norris and trw are pretty much the same, they are both basicly stock replacement parts.Moog on the other hand is a step above in peformance and quality.

You need ball joints, upper and lower, for the 73+ cars.

The rest of the stuff is the same IIRC. Get the offset upper control arm bushings.

McQuay-Norris brand was carried by NAPA in the past. Not sure if they still do.

Moog is a superior design IMO, but does cost a bit more.
