Welcome aboard, I pull a 904 out of a ramcharger and built it, or had it build i should say, it will fit your tunnel perfectly, and hold up

Someone already hacked out the 4 speed trans tunnel. The floor is soft in the floor boards. but good where it counts. I may take the floor out of a 65 Dart 4 door I have and transplant it into the Barracuda. A 727 came with the 360 and is linkage shift, not cable, so I was I had hoped to use it. There are a couple 904's in the junkyard, but I can't afford to throw the goodies at it. This will be very budget. Anyway, since the tunnel is already hacked, I figured that gives me some options.

Keep the 727... it will be less hassle getting to your end goal with... than say a 904...
