Metal Interior trim above door 1970 Swinger

Help ! We took the interor trim off last year. Now can't figure how to reinstall it. Where do you start, do you put the clips in and slide the trim on ? Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

It is hard to explain but the clips go on the painted metal part then push into the stainless channel. You really need a factory service manual to see how it all goes together. You may be able to download the page you need...
