Since I am also into traditional rods, I might be heading up to Midnight Mass in July. It's for all pre-65 hot rods, customs and motorcycles. This is very similar to the local Billetproof show. If anyone is interested in meeting up there, let me know. I am sure we could sneak all the 1st generation Barracudas in as '64 models. ;-)

that sounds like fun. i would like to go. im just not sure what my work schedule will be. right now they have me working 10 hours a day, seven days a week. so i have no time to do anything. (well its my choice to work) but at least i will be able to buy some parts for my car. anyways, i can let you know when it gets closer to the date. i wanted to go to billetproof last year but missed it.

I am going ... i hope to have the belvedere done by then, if not i will be cruising in my buddys 318 powered model a .... i was at billetproof last year too i was driving a black 61 seneca with the roof cut off.. i would be cruising that this year but i took it to the rockabilly rod reunion in vegas last october and sold it..
what will you be driving??

I will probably drive up in my Ram since I sold my '52 Dodge 1/2T last year. I don't have anything pre-65 any longer (beside the '35 which isn't at all together).

I think the belvedere is going to make it, the seats should be done monday, the door panels are coming together. i got all the doors and windows working now.(the car sat for @12 years before i got it) so i just need to fix the brakes, throw some paint on it, and flush the tank .. and she should be rollin:cheers:

i had issues with my other cars so the belvedere will not make it.. it should be rollin by han and billetproof

Not going only because I'm going down to Sears Point the next morning for the Autolite's with my oldest boy, it'll be his first time to the big boys. Unless his attitude makes me kill him between now and Sat night.

lol....
the show was great probably one of the best traditional rod shows ive been to ....
the only thing that pissed me off was. that i saw more than 10,'66 and newer vehicles also 1 car with digital guages and 1 open wheel fenderless car. a guy that went with us lost a tire because he had swapped to his old stock steels. he went all the way back to reno swapped on the torq thrust IIs and when he got to the show they hassled him about the wheels... i didnt know that the torq thrusts were billet any way??? another one of my friends brought a vw down there and they wouldnt let him in ... even though it states nothing about vw's on any of the flyers i got... i understand that vws are not very rat rod but neither are polished '66 and newer lowriders with wire wheels and hydros but i still saw a few of them....

Well he commited attitude suicide. Opened his trap to his mom and got shut down. Two seconds after hearing this go down his younger sister ran down the stairs to beat out the other kids to ask to go. Well she went and enjoyed herself alot. She only jumped three feet out of her seat when the first Top Fuel Car's made their run. And the smile was worth it.
