Been back burner looking for one of these as it's my wife's favorite car ever, but it has to be close, affordable, in solid condition, and have at least one or more of some specific options- V8, manual trans, PS, AC, red.
I found one that fits almost everything.
Factory red with black int. Floor shift auto. AC. V8.
Engine is not original and in questionable condition.
I don't care as I have a '76 318 warranty block that's already got a 4 barrel on it with trans that ran and drove before I pulled it.
I know issue 1 is cowl rot. I put my hand up the interior vent as far as I can and feel around.
IIRC it's a little challenging on the driver's side of an AC car.
I know the rockers can be bad news.
I know the trunk lid can be a pain.
I know they like to rust under the top quarter panel trim, and the rear wheel arches.
All three of those look good and crisp in the photos despite the car being in primer.
Anything else?
