Picked up a neat little project here on Sunday
Me and a buddy drove to Indiana to pick up this ole Duster as we’re loading the car and parts he notices the stripes and is thinking they look familiar. As we stop for Portillos he goes digging through his photos he’s got and finds the 3 photos of his Don Carlton car back when Mike Radis owned it and Low and Behold the Duster turned out to be his old street race car. I got a 418 Stroker a 904 and a Dana 60 all with the car but I’ll probably be rehoming the Stroker and the 904 and possibly the Dana 60. If the car sticks around the goal will be either to make a race car out of it but go my own route (while repainting it the original scheme) or to just make a cool flashy street cruiser. It’s a shame the paint survived all these years just to be stripped off of the car.
