I have these 2 cams to choose from. Comp 270 magnum. 110. 270 duration and 470 lift. Lunati 108. 292 duration and 480 lift. 360 is bored .040 with dish type factory type pistons. Approximately 8.8-1. This is just a stock build for cruising. 2.02 J heads, stock 4bbl intake, factory rockers and adjustable pushrods. Thanks. Kim

If you use the lunati, crank it way ahead. Like 100-102 ICL to make up for the low compression.

The 270 would be better for a cruiser, better idle profile and drivability. Still has 224 @ .050 would be a little choppy

There is about 20* difference in duration @ 050 between those two cams. That is lot. I do not think any amount of advance on the 292 cam will turn it into a 'stock build for cruising' in a low compression 360. Even the 270 cam is probably going to have a lumpy idle but a better choice.

i'd run the 270. even advancing the 292 the bottom end is gonna be dog water with that compression.

it'd boogie uptown with the big valve heads if you snapped on a single plane and had a whole bunch of gear, but that doesn't sound like the party you want to attend.

Either needs gears and a converter to be worth a crap. If your gonna do that anyway go bigger lol
