"mild" Shift kit?

I want to get a ratchet shifter for my '74 duster, what shift kit would you guyz recommend to speed up the shift on an a904 without causing it to hit so hard it break parts? Thanks!

I run the TF2 in my car. Shifts easy with light throttle. Step on it some and there is no slack at all. Great shift kit for the street.

I agree 100% with my fellow members whom have opined before me : Trans-Go all-the way !
The other manufactures' shift kits are designed around a Turbo 350 / 400 - based kit ; no go in a TorqueFlite ( or C4 , or C6 , or FMX , or Borg-Warner , or ... ) .

btw : They must LOVE you in Humboldt ! I have cousins whom live in Garberville
( nice , quiet town off of 101 ) , and that entire area reeks of Pitchuli , b.o. , and dank weed ! Bunch of car-hating , tree-hugging , malodourous Hippies !
