do you have to modify the back seat frame once the car is mini tubbed or does it fit right in like it should? also has anyone put strut shocks on there trunk? any pics

I re-used my factory wheel tubs and everything went back together no problem. Only thing I did in the seat area was I had to cut 2-3" off the cross braces behind the rear seat then weld them back on to the wheel tub.
Seat bottom is a bit harder to get hooked in like Bob said, but fits fine

Do a search and you will find where people have found a trick way to modify the rear seat back by cutting out a section of each bottom corner, swapping the pieces side to side and welding them back in. I found this recommendation here and it worked great.

Some people have this issue. Some don't. I was one of them who did have this issue. Cutting the seat frame on both sides and swapping the frames left to right and right to left made clearance. Not hard at all to do if required.

Before when it was hitting the tub

Cut/spliced

Mine went in without modifying the seat back, so I guess it's hit and miss. My seat bottom is a ***** to get locked into place though.
