Hey what is the minimum length of the yoke on my driveshaft that can go in the transmission before deemed dangerous?

Two general rules of thumb, the rest is up to you.
1) Splined shafts need to have enough spline interlocked to equal the diameter of the shaft.
2) Generally, putting the car up on blocks under the tires and measuring from axle yoke to trans yoke with the trans yoke midway between fully bottomed and falling off the output shaft should work. This does not take into account extra travel in the suspension beyond stock.
