MIR Eastern Classic 10/19/13 (PHOTO'S)

Well it wasn't such great Mopar event this year because of the rain showed up earlier than expected and kind of ruined the event. I guess the weather report kept allot of cars away plus the show date got moved up earlier this year and maybe conflicted with other shows possibly. It usually is a great event and love going there.

Well I did get to meet FABO member MOPARMITCH with his beautiful gold '68 Roadrunner who took two award's. One for "Best Paint" and the "Best of Show"! I came home with an easy second place award,but then the were only something like maybe 60 cars in the show. They don't classify the cars like some shows do,they do a "Best 25 Cars" for second place and "Best 20 Cars" for first places.

So anyway here are my pics of the show and some race cars. Too bad the track got wet before I had a chance to photograph any racing.

I'm always wondering about the fascination with lambo doors on cars........I don't get it :dontknow: :scratch: There's lots of them @ shows here too.

I like the white Demon except for the hood. My fave is the Hurst 300 Chrysler though.....Thanks for posting

There were a few more cars there with those lambo doors but I didn't take pics of them as they really don't turn me on. There wasn't even one PT Cruiser in the show this time,thank god. Last year there was a swarm of them.
My favorite cars were MOPARMITCH'S '68 RR and the Black '72 Swinger with the black/orange interior. That car was done nicely as well.

Your quite welcome! I wish I would have taken more pics of it. Just loved the way you broke up the interior with the orange and black and to top it off was the plaid/checkered inserts on the seats.

I didn't get a chance to walk around to much as I was racing but thanks for the pics. Rain kinda of put a end to it. Ended up leaving early to start my 8 hr. trip home.
