Here are pics from the front floor pan work from the past few days.
When you guys replace the pans do you weld them 100%, even though the factory spot welded them every 6"-8"? I did a 1"x1" skip weld and will use seam sealer over that, I also puddle welded the field to the frame members. Does this seam reasonable?

I like as much weld as possible, if only to stiffen things up a bit.
 
Nice work. I let the patch over lap about an inch then weld it up all the way on both sides. I allso drill holes in the pan where the frame is then plug weld them up. The more weld the better. But thats just me.

Burnt-I did overlap the one inch, and a puddle weld is the thing same as a plug weld.
So I think we are on the same page.

RJ, the answer is yes, You even posted some pictures of what its going to look like.:-D
But next is the cowl repair I have already cut out all the matel now I just have to weld the pieces back in , maybe today.
