From " Colour Me Pop " , off of " In Search of the Lost Chord " ( 1968 ) :
Moody Blues " Best Way to Travel "
Mike Pinder ( founding member , singing and playing guitar here ) was able to travel out-of-body ( "Remote Viewing" type encounters ) , a practise he recognised as a lad .
After such a shitty week , it's good for me to listen ( for the umpteenth time ; it never gets old ) to this song . Its message seems so prosaic on the surface ; however , for those "in-the-know" , this song speaks volumes about the better life ; the life away from this disappointing physical realm .
