I have just installed a set of Moog 7103 offset bushings in the UCA's on my '68 Dart ('73 disc front end). The bushings come with "ferrules" that you are supposed to press onto the ends of the bushings before installing the arm. My problem is that the bushings don't fit between the upper control arm mounts with these ferrules installed. Is it really necessary to use the Moog ferrules on the offset bushings?. It seems to me they would help reduce wear, but if I can't install the arms with the ferrules installed I might just install the arms without the ferrules. And the stock bushings didn't have these ferrules, so.......

Opinions anyone....?????

Thanks,

Mark.

Yeah, lots of good info there. I see Autoxcuda doesn't worrry about them if they won't fit.... and he has the road racing exp that I like to borrow from. So if they won't fit I won't bother with them.

thanks.
