Hi Guys and Gals,

Scott here I need some help. This question is about my roadrunner, the 340 was pulled out for a rebuild. The car now has a 1978 360 stock with the exception of Eddy manifold, four barrel and headers. Assuming that the 360 are externally balanced, I need help choosing a stock converter to put back into the Trans that has just been rebuilt. The previous converter went bad and tour up the Trans, is what I am being told. The motor has and 360 flex plate from B$M with the half moon cut out. Does the flex plate and the stock flywheel make the converter natural balanced on a 1971 727?

the b&M flexplate is the correct flexplate for a externally balanced 360...just get a neutral balanced converter...meaning no weights....

Yes, with the B&M flex plate, you can run the 340 converter for the forged crank 340's...

.............If he already has a b+m flexplate he will ha
ve a neutral balanced converter............he will just need a neutral balanced flexplate..........kim.....
