[WANTED] Mopar 8 3/4 housing for A body in Texas

I got one. Measure 52" shortened from a B body. Asking $600 + shipping. Bare housing, includes hardware.
 
I have a factory 70 Duster 340 H code
3:23 Sure Grip
Correct brake drums/Shoes and all lines
Off my 340 duster with only 22,000 Miles and
great shape.
$2,250.00
I should have a pallet going to Dallas next week which
would really cut the shipping down as you could share it

Thanks for the offer but twice as much as what I expected to spend for a complete unit and shipping would not be a problem. Thanks for the response.
 
The hosting was in 69 dart. 323 sure grip. The axles and brakes and brake drums are new . With big bolt pattern. Can send pictures tomorrow

Looks good. This is a true A body is it not? Have you confirmed spring to spring and flange to flange? How much and how to ship are the big questions. Axles are by who? Jeff
 
It is a true a body rear end. the axles are mosiers I think. $2500 + shipping. I can check with fastenal for the shipping. They would be the best price. Would need your zip

Shipping not an issue and reasonable but not expecting cost of diff to be so high. Thanks for your effort and response but will just make due with what I have.

That's about the going rate of a true A-body housing w/ diff.

I guess my $600 shortened B-body housing isn't looking so bad now.........
 
I know two Mopar restorers/specialists here in Las Cruces, but shipping would have to be arranged through your end. If they even had anything. One is a generalist and the other is primarily B /E body.
 
Let me check my shed. I should have ax bare Abody. Someone added narrowed spring perches which can be cut off. Original ones are still there.
I will be going to Hallsville tx 1st of July

Is this the Hallsville in east Texas? Hope your not going to race. My understanding was that was shut down many many years ago. What kind of shape is your housing in. Can you send me pics?

Yes just off I-20. I'll send pictures tomorrow. Needs painting. But in good shape. Do have a sure grip 3rd member but not sure of gear ratio. I'll check on that also
 
Not Racing anymore. Sold my car last year
