I need a 8.25 or 8.75 rear end for my 1965 Dodge Dart. I have a broken 7.25 and need to get this car on the road. Open or posi unit is fine. It's ok if it needs rebuilt as well.
 
Call 619-886-8723 , and talk to Al. He is in San Diego and has a 8.25 posi with something like 3:23's. It's complete drum to drum and was rebuilt with only 2k miles on it. Was in a dart and the dart got totaled. He knows it not worth a lot of money. I bet you can buy it for $100 or less. I never asked him what he wanted for it. I just picked up some stuff from him yesterday.
 
If anyone has a lead on 66-up 273 heads in the Southern Cali area. Or any that could be shipped. In need of some. The exhaust on mine are sunk and has the old 64-65 intake bolt holes. Or maybe some low 56-62cc heads. I have a HiPo-273 with a 4bl.
 
You could always go to the junk yard a pull a set of 302 heads off an 80s 318.
 
I called 619-886-8723.. got a machine. I would be happy with an 8.25 rear end. Had one in my 72 Demon 340 and it did fine (cheap 4.5" bp swap it was $125).
 
Heads or rearend in so/cal.. good luck. All gone and sitting on Ebay for what I paid for my 1965 Dart and 1972 Demon in 1994
