I'm kinda ashamed to admit I ordered this little kit to dress up a regular auto-parts-store battery into a Mopar OEM battery. But OK I did it. And I really like it. You pay about $30 for two stickers and six plastic Mopar bottle caps with sticky tape on them. My install was super easy. The existing stickers on my batter peeled right off. I used regular household spray cleaner to wash off the battery. Then put on the stickers and the fake vent caps and thar she blows. Cool little visual upgrade with absolutely no practical functionality. I went with red caps to match the color of my car, even though the forum tells me the OEM for my car would've been green. Big blockers got the red, apparently. But whatever! Here's what I ordered. Mopar Battery S27M red (1966-74) Glue Caps kit - WESKCAR
Looks great. I have done it to a few with good results. I started a thread and made it a sticky in the electrical forum as well. It's a great way to give your battery an old school look for not to many dollars. Mopar battery dress up kits and cap color chart
I've got one of those kits. Just waiting on the battery I have to take a dump.
Surprisingly, it's been a great battery.
BTW, I have a NOS dry cell Mopar replacement Mopar EverStart battery. As funny as Mopar is with their trademark, I'm surprised they haven't went after Walmart for using the name.
I've wanted to have decals from that made up.
If anyone is interested, I'll take some photos.
Actually, I posted about these once before. I'm down to one unused battery and one that needs rebuilt. Thread is here
