Mopar Fest - Union Grove, WI

Was there today. Used a zoom lense I'm not real familiar with. Took around 149 pictures. I'm gonna post some here, but will try to post all online. I have to research how and where for that.

Hey Louie70Dart!

Very nice pictures!

See you caught the Charger up by the handicap parking. I will tell you why the car was parked there. A friend (handicapped) came to the track with some brautwurst for me. So we met up and I drove up to his car to stick them in my cooler. Shut the trunk on the Charger, and guess where the keys were. Yes, in the trunk...

Hee Haw!, Hee Haw! Hee Haw! Jack *** Ma laid them down in the trunk. My friend had to drive me home to get the other set.

I got some pics as well to share...

Saw one car have a wreck. A little car, I think a Colt (1st two pics), with what sounded like turbo engine that was acting up. He burped it off the line and the damn thing kicked and bucked and then took off and went sideways across both lanes and then bounced off the opposite lane wall. He climbed out OK and the car had both corners rounded off on the drivers side.

And finally, Kilpatrick Racing was the main sponser for the Mopar event. Jim had his Bad Judgement car there. Sweet car...

Thanks for the pics Ma Snart, I didn't take many pics at all. It was nice to meet you as well. Your Charger is beautiful!

Sunday was much better than Saturday, and we made enough at the swap to cover costs to get in and get down there. The racing was also much better, minus the incident with the Colt. The funny cars were certainly a highlite for me.

Honestly though the thing that impressed me most was how well my Dart ran and drove down. I had a two hour drive one-way, and had installed the 360/new carb & intake/exhaust less than a week ago and was really expecting to have issues. Other than the terrible gas mileage, it made the trip without a hiccup.

Great to see some familiar cars there Ma The Elephant I have not seen for a couple years in person, I hope he is doing well. wow Looks like some heavy hitters was there :burnout: Thank you for your time sharing this day with us

I always carry two sets of keys now. Lost the only set to one of my daily driver Barracudas once snowmobiling in -20°F. Walked my trail twice looking for them and couldn't find them. Had to take the sled home and ended up rekeying the Barracuda. Now it's two sets in my pocket always with at least two sets of back up at home....

Hey Tuckinauster!

Nice to meet you as well. Glad to hear you were able to sell some things at the swap meet. The crowd was pretty thin this year.

Take care...
