mopar intake bolt holes do not line up ??

Bought this intake thinking it was for a la 340-360 engine. when I looked at it more carefully the inner bolt holes do not line up with the heads . only the outer end bolts line up ..
mopar manifold is stamped cast number 4452893
looked this part number up and said it is for a W-5- w-2 head.

I thought w-2 w-5 were all round or oval ports .. they should even have the la head bolt pattern .. this manifold does not.


what's going on with this intake ?

W5 intake..W5 heads have rectangle intake ports...the ones that dont line up are spread further apart on a w5 head to allow for porting of the intake.

You could just redrill the inter holes...

W2 head is the same bolt pattern...but the stock W2 intake port is oval.
