OK I purchased a set of these Mopar valve covers. I like the easy to clean metal chrome. But they only have open holes. I think they are 1.25" ? Anybody running these, and what did you do for the gromets for the PCV and Breather. I am sure they need to be push in type. I read there are some gromets that are baffles built in. I wopuld guess the breather will get pulled out to put oil in ...

The pictures show them with gromets, but none come with them. I checked from several sites and none in the boxes.

Any help please thanks!

They can be ordered from MoPar or Mancini racing. There no longer included with the valve covers. Order them seperatly as a package, like a stock engine would have or 1 breather and a PCV, 2 breathers etc.......

Did you order the type from them that are supported with baffles? I hate to see any oil come up from any crankcase pressure. I thnk some covers have baffles built into them so the oil stays off of the gromets, pcv breather etc.

thanks!

I grabed the black wrinkle covers. I had to order the breathers and baffles seperatly.
(Bastards.) The baffles come with 2 plates and at least 6 screw that self tap into the cast in stands the baffles sit on.

Yep seems like every chance they get everything is extra. Soon we will pay for air n the tires... oh yeah some places already do that huh.. :blah5:

I had different covers, however the hole dia are the same. A K&N filter itself works great without the use of a gromet and is what I use as the oil filler as well. It would have to be used over a baffle plate. As per PVC, a gromet from a dealer with a 3/4 hole for the valve.
