For me I WANT a 68 Dodge Monaco 500. My last name is Monaco and I used to own a 68 Monaco 500. Awesome car 383 auto on floor, Buckets, Really Cool car!!! Looking for another one.

Always thought it was a real shame that the 66 Chrysler 300-M never made it past the prototype stage. Even after the rest of the 66 Chrysler model line up was in the showrooms, the 300-M with the new 426 Hemi was expected to hit the showrooms just a few months later.
Also disappointing that 68 was the last year for Imperial convertibles. In 69 the Imperial shared much of its body with the Newport and 300 so it would have been easy enough to continue the Imperial convertible through 1970 (the last year for all C-body convertibles).
...and why is it that only Canada got the Monaco in convertible form from 65 through 69 (don't think there was a 70)?
