mopar performance short block p4876907 cam ?

Hi, Can anyone tell me on this short block if the cam needs to be a long snout?

p4876907 short block is a LA base motor...but has the the oem set up for roller lifters...they came with the 509 hydraulic cam from the factory....

now to answer your question...actually I would use a long snout...it will work with a mechanical fuel pump or fuel injection since the eccentic will still be there but no mechanical fuel pump is needed....

I have one of those short blocks in my 73 340 Duster...lol...

What vibration damper, and flex plate did you use with your short block?

mine are 1991 blocks.....LA externally balanced....you will need a LA 360 externally balanced balancer and flexplate with a neutral flywheel/converter
