Hi all,
Trying to figure which way to build a 360 engine for my duster. So much has changed in 21 years. Was looking at Mopars site and noticed a 402 A block stroker short block part#5007840 on their site. Not any info there. Looked at Summit and found that their 020 over on the bore, cast crank, cast pistons,NO compression ratio listed.
Has anyone bought one of these? Ideas?

thanks OG

i dont trust MP to tie their shoes right. You can do much better in terms of a 408 than the parts MP likes to use.

I agree wholeheartedly....

4.000 bore and 4.000 stroke = 402.12 CID. 4.020 bore and 4.000 stroke = 406.15 CID. FYI, Terry.

i would get a strokerkit and a 360 block from a junkyard, i dont thrust the mopar performance shortblocks after reading about other peoples problems with them, and by buying everything and doing the asembly you will know the compresion and everything else you may need to know in the future:)
