Mopars at Cedar Falls Raceway

Here's a few shots of some Mopar action at Cedar Falls Raceway today. (9/25)
I found our own TomMoparMan and wife Vicki tearing up the strip. I had never seen Tom's Duster run. And run it does. 8:80's @ 150+ is cookin' for a steelbodied car. It still wears the original paint and stripe. He even kept the padded dash and Tuff Wheel. It even has the chrome racing mirrors on it. I'll post a link to a couple videos too. I didn't make it on Saturday to see the car show but there's always next year. toolmanmike

That black 68 Dart was our old car. Man I miss it!

That black Dart is badass, and a gray haired old lady (maybe 60's) drives it. They have been to Rock Falls quite a few times also, and I'm always impressed with the performance of the car. Very cool!

That's my buddies 65 Belvedere with the flames next to it.

The driver/owner of the dart now is Kathy Johnson. She's somewhere 60 years old. When she bought it from us it was running 10.50's, wasnt fast enough for her so they had a new motor built. Now she runs mid to high 9's.
