This weekend was MOPAR weekend, the guys that put on the Somernitescruise said there were somewhere in the 1050 cars and about 190 MOPARS

What a great way to spend a weekend in central KY. We didn't get into Somerset until about 10pm Friday night so we missed the activities

Saturday morning started with a fun run with maybe 40 cars. Met at Hardee's with free food and at 9am a 20+ mile cruise out to a mill that was built in 1877

then back to Don Marshall Chrysler Dodge for a mid day car show. Everyone got FREE T Shirts, FREE Food and chance to win $200 CASH. They gave out a few trophies, best paint, engine, original, custom and best of show. At the end of the show at 1:30 they gave us a police escort into downtown Somerset and parked the Mopars on the south end of town with winners sitting on the town square.

If you never have heard of Somernitescruise google it and check it out. They start on the 4th weeeknd of April thru October. Each month is a theme and May is Mopar Month. All makes at welcome each month, just the theme vehicles get special treatment.

There were cars in all the parking lots and lineing the main streets of downtown Somerset, KY

They have the cruise from 1PM to 7 PM then everyone heads over to hwy 27 for some cruising. It might not be Brice road or Woodward, but a nice place to either sit and watch or do some cruising. Seen some Blue lights helping those that were not being safe, but it was mainly guys in drivers, not the muscle cars.

Wow, some really nice Mopars! Looks like the weather cooperated with you too...all that and free food!!

Wanted to drive my Dart but didn't have time to change the water pump and try and figure out what is causing the anti freeze to leak onto the intake valley so took the Prowler as my back up car.

Also since this was a open show and everything was welcome took a few pictures of other cars. The Nova was BADD A** check out the front plate

The truck is COOL a Diamond T

the low rider rat rod is not my cup of tea, but thought some here might like it.

There were GTO's, Chevelle's, Camaro's, Mustang's, you name it, it was probably there. Yeah seen some ramblers & edsels too

The red Dakota is a buddies truck that is for sale

Most of the pictures were from Don Marshalls. Don't recall seeing the FB cuda in avatar

Were you at dealer or just up town?

I didn't get into any parking lots, just street shots and not to many of them. There are so many cars it would be hard to walk it all and my wife was walking with me so we stayed on the street for her sake.

Would have taken a shot of it had I seen it.

Haha yeah I was in the grass by the street I was last to leave because I was helping jump off a guy in a 70-74 cuda parked next to me. I didn't get there till 12

I had every intension on going but didn't make it... Looks like I missed out!
Thanks for the pics
