I went up to the strip at Lowville, PA yesterday. The weather was perfect. There weren't a whole lot of cars there. About half of them were Mustangs ranging from a beautiful '74? Mach 1 to a bunch of '80s. There were only 3 Mopars there. Here are some pics. The Barracuda belongs to my friend. He's got a 440 in it. His best time was 14.07. The Aspen has a 360 stroked out to 408. He was in the mid 10's. The Charger had street tire and couldn't hook up.

Part of his problem is that he's running street tires. If he winds the engine up too far, he just sits and spins. A different torque converter would help too. The car is a daily driver, so he doesn't want it to get too much of a "strip" car. He is buying some slicks, though.

I think that some ear plug's and peddle that fish and it could do better.

But I think I can out drive most young'ins.
