They're still out there but you have to move fast. I know a lot of people don't like Facebook but there are a lot of Mopar groups on it and you can find deals.

Well that's the thing, you'll have to sign up for Facebook. Here is an example of how big these groups are

Hundreds of Mopars out there for less than 10k. Even less than 5k. You just can't expect a really nice '71 Duster or a '68 Satellite. I have several old Mopars and I didn't pay 5k for any of them.
I would imagine this thread would be predominately for A body cars.
That said, I had to ask a few times on FBBO to please keep the postings in my thread to Mopar only cars.
(pretty sure we don't need to be advertising camaros on here as they already have 500,000 other sites devoted to them)
I'd say about half the postings over there are B body with the rest now mostly Mopar.

The Mopars we could buy 10 years ago aren't like what that $$ buys today!
B bodies (projects) especially today, weren't even considered decent parts cars 15 years ago.
As the economy perhaps (no doubt) heads toward recession, with high unemployment, and already stupid high inflation...I look for projects to get cheaper!!! I have seen a few builders in the last month that are at reality. I say, 99% of the projects on FB or CL prices are inflated by 200-300 400%. Good cars will always bring good money, because good cars are usually owned by people with enough $$> Yea, their prices go up and down somewhat, it is a cycle.
The best projects are the ones most compete, most solid and straight, and are the ones YOU can do the work on, unless you have a fat checkbook.

..... Another Old Mopar over 40 years old I bought for way less than 2k ....
Yes, it has some rust and the 318 needed some tuning ..... but hey !
Again, I think there are plenty of Old Mopar's out there to be bought on the cheap, but you just got to have realistic expectations. If you are waiting for that mint 340 Duster for 6k, better by a 5-dollar picture and hang it on your wall.

I sold some F bodies, of that vintage, that were perfect for $3500 just last year, ALL anyone would pay in Texas/It depends... Here is a 2 dr Big Block B-body that I bought for UNDER 2k

The simple fact is, most everybody that really WANTS one is paying good money for good solid cars, regardless of engine. They're getting harder to find everyday and people know it.
I've been on FB market place and the mopars on there for 5k don't run, if you're lucky enough that they even have a engine and transmission and are in need of a major restoration. The one's under 5k are pretty much junk.
Mopars in Missouri that are going for 10k need work and most barely even run. For a decent A body you can expect to pay at least 20k plus
Just got done looking on FB. Of the 37 mopars I saw for sale for $10,000 or under, only 9 were possibly running cars. These were A bodies as the roadrunners, Cudas, challenger, charger's in the same category started at 15k. If anyone is buying a running, driving mopar for 10k and less, you got a rare deal on the car.

It's all about timing and right place right time. They do pop up even in Alaska. I picked up my 70 Duster in Oct or 2020 for less than 10K. It was/is not perfect but I drove it home 50 or so miles home with no problems. She's got some minor issues but a decent driver with a 20+ year old paint job that presents well. This was the day I drove it home. With the crazy extended shackle on the drivers side only and Cragars.

I can buy a running, driving mopar every day for well under 5k. Will they be '72 340 Dusters? NOPE. Will they be a '73 Plymouth Fury, good chance !!
Literally, 3 seconds on Marketplace after typing in the word "Plymouth", here is a running, driving '73 360 Fury for 2750.00 that is a 1/2 hour from me. Just sayin', you can't say noth'n running of old mopars for less than 5k

What about the A body mopar? I'm not saying that you haven't done so, I'm saying that I was on FB moments ago and there wasn't one driveable mopar for under 5k.
