Mopars for sale under $10,000

I'm watching graveyard cars and I don't know how those guys can afford to have their cars restored.
I'm thinking it's more of a status symbol thing cuz they're probably paying out more than the damn car is worth when it's done unless they're totally a numbers car, and that's even questionable

Man, I've been playing with these things for over 30 years and learn Something every day on here... great place, great People!
Right on. I checked on the 1969 that's not far from me, he's asking $19,500. It's on Facebook market place. It needs interior work. He won't take less than 19k. It's a 273 car

I looked it up and if I remember correctly it cost about $250,000 to have them restore a car

It's all about timing and right place right time. They do pop up even in Alaska. I picked up my 70 Duster in Oct or 2020 for less than 10K. It was/is not perfect but I drove it home 50 or so miles home with no problems. She's got some minor issues but a decent driver with a 20+ year old paint job that presents well. This was the day I drove it home. With the crazy extended shackle on the drivers side only and Cragars.

Nice car

Literally, 3 seconds on Marketplace after typing in the word "Plymouth", here is a running, driving '73 360 Fury for 2750.00 that is a 1/2 hour from me. Just sayin', you can't say noth'n running of old mopars for less than 5k

I understand what you're saying but I'm only looking at 2 door cars and mostly A bodies.

Just got done looking on FB. Of the 37 mopars I saw for sale for $10,000 or under, only 9 were possibly running cars. These were A bodies as the roadrunners, Cudas, challenger, charger's in the same category started at 15k. If anyone is buying a running, driving mopar for 10k and less, you got a rare deal on the car.

There's more outlets than Facebook.
There's tons of good running cars out there under $10k.

I paid under $5k for a 72 swinger with a 318 auto. All original other than an add on driveshaft loop, very good to excellent interior, no rust, shitty respray paint, New tires and good wheels (15" big and little torque thrusts), and the thing has been an amazing car since I got it. Now it's a 408 with a 4spd.

There are deals out there. It takes going and seeing cars and making offers to actually close the deal. Most people ask way over what they'll actually take, but you gotta show up to negotiate a car...

@Phreakish. I don't want to sound disrespectful but I've spent hours on Facebook looking for a decent A body mopar and what I said earlier about them is a fact and not fiction. I seen a '65 cuda that was a major rust bucket and no drive train it's price $3500. Take a few minutes and look carefully and I think that you will be surprised.

Now that's what I'm talking about. I'd like to have a deal like that

We all see the same crap. People ASKING big money.
Asking and getting are different.

My car was originally listed for over $20k because the owner was convinced it had a 340 - it didn't. I paid under $5k. People have posted tons and tons of cars the past two years that are in the same ballpark.. They exist.

Sir, you got a awesome deal that's for sure. I'm looking seriously and have funds to work with too.

Offer up, let go, when I was on Facebook I was a member of a bunch of mopar clubs on there, although I know that's been mentioned...
Thanks Ironracer. I'm looking for a car just to have fun with. I admit that I like my ac and ps, but I think that I should be able to get a good running car with ac. It doesn't have to be a number matching car or a limited edition. But I do want a V/8 car.

Believe me when I say it's all about location. You won't find things in this area as nice as some members here have found in their areas. Not Mopars, anyway.

That's very true. A lot of times, you can get something way cheaper than advertised priced. I've laid hundreds on hoods before and been successful.....and then not been. lol

Things are seasonal too. Up here, we're snowed in. The only people selling cars are selling junk, or need quick cash for more meth - and yet they still ask for a fortune for their 382,744 thousand mile corolla ex that "ran last week, easy fix, have the part".. LOL

But in springtime people start getting the itch to sell their junk to fund vacations or a new car or other garbage, and so it all goes on the chopping block.

I was very fortunate with Vixen. Had she had decent tires, I could have put a battery and gas in her and drove her from Canton, Georgia to Jones County, Georgia. I still didn't bother trying to talk the seller down, because of the situation and the fact he was very cool. I got her for well under 1500 dollars. Best money I ever spent on a car so far.
