Yards don't sell parts here. They just let the vehicles sit until Mother Nature recycles them.

It's a Minnesota thing.

The yard I know that looks like the sardine one above had a roof a buddy wanted to buy. He hadn't been there in a few years, I had been there a few months prior. He got me to lend him a generator to use to cut the roof off a Dart, and we were dragging this thing through the early winter snow when I asked him where the car was. He told me, and I asked him if it was pressed up side to side over and around where we were. He says yeah, it is and I tell him to drop the generator. I knew immediately he was after a car that was the path to get from one trapped group of cars to the next. We hiked over, and sure enough, that roof was nice and caved in. He started letting me have it for walking on a good roof and hooked and hollered. I laughed at him and told him it wasn't me, but like that when I saw it. I sure as hell wasn't gonna drag that generator all over for nothing!

They sure know how to utilize every inch in their properties in our neck of the woods.
