OK, you're a photojournalist touring an area just ravaged by a hurricane. You notice President Obama fall into a flood-swolen river, quickly getting carried downstream. You have a choice of a Pulitzer prize-winning photo or helping save the President's life. What shutter speed do you use?

Don't know a lot about complicated cameras, but what is the slowest shutter speed they have, and you would need to take the whole role of film up,wouldn't you?

so what is the dilemma? as a photojournalist aren't you supposed to just report the news or shoot it in this case and not be a part of the news.
You have a moral obligation to take the pictures. come on man do your job and nothing more, don't become your story just shoot it....

LOL well that is what I would do.. The press pass say's Photographer not lifesaver..

Is that wrong of me to say?

Just set it on 'Auto Focus' and click away. You want to make sure you record the entire trip down river and all shots of just the river only after that, for posterity.
