Thanks for the pics, Jeff I didn't spend much time in the show area so I missed a lot of the wing cars. That is an awesome grill, be neat to have it parked on my deck.

Interesting. The first shot shows a lime green convertable 'Runner or Satellite converted to a Superbird. It is the one on the truck in the background. Or are my eyes deceiving me?

FISHBREATH, your eyes are just fine. You're right someone converted the car. I wish it was mine. I remember back in the day someone locally had a Superbird. The whole car was in sorry shape. Man I wish I would have bought it.

What's with the Fords mixed in with the Mopars, at a Mopar Show?

Sorry to cut in on the post.Dustpan I,d like to know the backspace on your rear wheels?And is it a factory 8 3/4?

Dustpan: They were also big speedway competitors with those Talledega fords and it was nice to be able to photo two big runners on the same track. Just goes to show ya that mopar freaks aren't too good to invite the other guys to play. Several GM's and fords were funning down the 1/4 also. We play well with others as long as we lead.

They are 15x10 with 3 1/2" backspacing. The car is mini-tubbed and the 8 3/4 is a B-body narrowed 12".
