motor mount 273 to 340

I need some help finding the right mounts to swap my 273 to a 340 in my 67 barracuda

Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, But aren't they both LA small blocks? I thought that they were from the same motor family, which meant the mounting points would be the same.

I will correct you...

The left side ears for the motor mounts are different from 273/318 to 340/360 by about a 1/2".


The right side mount is interchangeable...

I can modify your bracket if you send it to me. I've done probably 40 over the years, some in pretty stout combos, 500+ hp/Tq



If the bracket you have has 4 block mount holes, you can shim the rear side ear without issue.

Thanks everyone. Man those mounts are expensive. Need to see if I can just modify them. The driver side seems to have a gap. And the other side needs a ear welded on it I think. Not to sure just dropped it in today and wouldn't work.
