Good morning. I own a 73 Plymouth Gold Duster which currently has a 318 engine. My neighbor and I are swapping the 318 for a 340 small block.
I am having a very hard time locating the left side (driver’s side) motor mount. Does anyone know where I can find one? Thank you!

Did I go about asking that question the right way?
This is the forum where member's post pictures and progress of their restorations.
If asked in small block discussion forum for questions.
Like who makes new mounts for 340-360 You would get
TransDapt bought out the company that was making new ones. And someone was also making a sleeve to be used instead of a stack of washers for spool mounts.

They aren't hard to find at all. They're everywhere. They are hard to find cheap or free. If you post an ad in the wanted section, you'll find one.

Just use your 318 mounts, it's not a big deal.
Or if you decide to order new 360 mounts qnyway (available at most parts stores- NAPA, O'Reiley, Rock Auto, etc.), you need to realize that what you'll actually be getting are the 318 brackets anyway. Compare the part numbers... They're supposed to be different (driver's side), but it's not a big issue- just that the new replacement ones are a poorer quality than the factory ones are, so you may want to just put new inserts into your existing brackets if you feel they are too worn out.
This thread details the differences and how to overcome them.
360 CI mtor mounts.

Finding 318/340 motor mounts isn't hard, it's the 360 specific mounts that's tuff. I found 318/340 mounts at Rock Auto, Classic Industries, etc. but the ones they have listed for a 360 have the same P/Ns as the 318/340 versions, and there not the same.

340 and 360 drivers side for an A body are the same bracket.

For the OP. If you have a 318 bracket, mount it to the front ears on your block and make a shim for the rear ear. Al the ones that seems to be available from regular parts houses are 318 brackets. They list as 340, they are not correct on ear spacing.
