One more question on this pump, does it have the P4286571 oil pressure relief?
 
..................Depends on ur build.....how big are ur clearances.....mild will be just fine with a stock pump.........kim........
 
Im not actually building it im letting a friend do it so i dont kno all that i just came across this thread and happened to be looking at oil pumps and was wondering wat was the one to have....now does the 63hv just give volume with little pressure and the 63 hp give alot of pressure but not alot of movement? just asking to learn i have never seen high pressure pumps just high volume....
 
HP pumps have std volume, but the higher relief presure.
HV pumps have the higher volume and the higher relief pressure.
So long as the clearances are good a std pump with the HP spring will be fine and free up measurable horsepower.
